Under the Azure Sky

Now and then you would have a golden October. The winds would have a sunny break. Clouds would disappear and leave us with the pure azure overhead. I would lie on deck, looking upwards, a perspective of utmost joy, the mast the centre, the ropes fanning out of view before the true blue. Your body lightens and perceives the ship as a cradle rocking you gently. Till the curtain is drawn once more and you rise without remorse for another port. – Andrea Connolly, 14^th June 2015
