Pondering

Autumn arrives in tossing fall

Autumn arrives in tossing fall

October Grey

October greeted us with fading greys after a golden autumn. Fall irreversible.
Just when we surrendered to wind and rain the curtain of clouds tore open revealing blue sky.
Opening windows and doors to invite mild air the elements grant us another sunny respite.
I think of grey and how to mix it on my watercolour palette, some red, blue and yellow. Primary colours. They build up all the colours of live.
Expect some bright skies behind the grey of days!
Expect the Unexpected!

Bees Box Buzz

Quest for the queen

Amongst the bees

In the bee-hive

Searching eyes

Dancing bees

Busy bees behave

As little folks

In their pollen dust

Flux dancing legs

Wax cluster home

Bees box buzz

For the quested

Yellow dotted

Queen of black

Irish honey bees

  1. wonderful use of words that just seem to buzz around to capture the spirit of the hive – really like the shape of the poem too 🙂
